What you will be able to do
A foundation program for people entering the profession. It covers skin anatomy, basic dermatology, facial treatments, device methods, skin diagnostics and client consultation, with most of the time spent on practice under instructor supervision.
- ✓Perform manual, device and combined facial cleansing, classic massage and superficial peels
- ✓Work with basic devices: darsonval, microcurrent, ultrasound, microdermabrasion, microneedling
- ✓Identify skin types and conditions and build a client skin map
- ✓Recognize acne, rosacea, pigmentation and scars and know the limits of esthetician work
- ✓Select products by skin type and explain ingredients and possible reactions
- ✓Consult clients, set expectations and recommend a treatment plan
